At 210+ pounds, I had spent 15-20 years trying every weight loss plan and diet; reading self improvement books; doing twelve step work…. I couldn’t remember a time when seeing photographs of myself or walking by a mirror didn’t cause me to cringe in shame.
I just couldn’t believe that this size 22 woman was me. But nothing I tried to change about my appearance worked for any length of time. Even exercising 5 days a week changed nothing. In total desperation, I had gone so far as to get quotes for lap band surgery. Fortunately (and I only say that now), it was not financially feasible.
I started this amazing program in at the first of last year and nothing has been the same since! The simplicity, straight-forwardness, affordability, as well as the consistent weight loss and high energy level I felt, made the days fly by. By fall, I had reached my goal!!!! Actually, I surpassed it because I thought I was being unrealistic to strive for a size 14, and in November I was a size 6-8! I have more energy than I can ever remember having, even when I was much younger, and I never want to go back to life before.

My story is not much different from most of you. I came to a point in my life where I wanted to “get off the sidelines and get into the game.” I looked at myself and truly saw what was holding me back. It was me!! I wanted to be more and wanted to do more. Physically, I didn’t have the energy needed to live the life I wanted because of the extra weight. I did not have the confidence I needed to accomplish the tasks I wanted to accomplish. I knew that when I looked in the mirror and liked what I saw, that would elevate me to another level, and it did. Although, I had some success in the past, I was still struggling to get to a more healthy weight.
Additionally, I had gotten to this age without major health problems. This was by luck. I wanted to stop gambling with my health and work on habits that would enable me to remain healthy the rest of my life. After being on the program for about two weeks, I said “WOW” this is the best, most effective and the easiest weight-loss program I’ve ever been on. It did exactly what it said it would do. I felt exactly the way it said I would feel. It was fantastic. I had struggled with obesity all my life. I was so excited.

Trey & Jenn
In June of 2009 we began our journey. Trey was in treatment for an autoimmune disease and had spent a year and a half on chemo and steroids trying to beat it. He knew that he was not in a healthy state and that the foods that he was putting in were not helping him create health, so he knew that is was time for a change. He really wanted to see what his body could do to heal itself if he were closer to a healthy BMI. Jenn was not ready for a change. She was very reluctant to start the program because of some of her concepts about what a “diet” should look like. And she had given up hope. Hope that she would be anything but a morbidly obese wife and mother. She agreed to start with Trey, on the same day, so that she would not be the reason that he failed.
Trey dropped 105 pounds and Jenn shed 187 pounds. After losing our weight our activity level sky rocketed. Trey started coaching our daughter’s soccer team, trained for a marathon (injury prevented participation), and has competed in the Wild Canyon Games three times. Jenn has ran 5K’s, 10K’s, a half marathon, obstacle races and participated twice in the Wild Canyon Games.
We now consider ourselves ‘half the couple’ we once were and are not looking back. Trey has maintained for over 3 years and Jenn has maintained for 2 years 11 months.

After topping 250 pounds in 2005, I was desperate to find a way back to the athlete that I used to be so I signed up for the Chicago marathon (couldn’t run around the block at the time!). I lost 60 pounds during my training, ran the marathon and almost immediately put over 30 pounds back on. Every winter since, like clockwork, I would gain 20-25 pounds and every Spring and Summer, I would diet and exercise it off and so it went until I was introduced to this program in the Spring of 2011. I got on the program and lost 33 pounds! But what I found really amazing is that I struggled with daily episodes of vertigo for over 4 years and that too was gone in the first month on the program and like the weight, has not come back!!
At 53, I now enjoy a level of health and fitness that I haven’t seen in decades!!

Cambria
Cambria has lost a total of 60 lbs. She began program in January 2011 and was working 2 jobs and in nursing school as well as planning her wedding. Her favorite part about the program “Reaching a healthy weight is only the beginning!!”. She has already started her next goal and is training for a marathon! In January 2012 my Doctor gave me an ultimatum to either lose 10% of my body weight or he had no other choice to start me on blood pressure and cholesterol medications.

My husband being a Certified Fitness Instructor informed me that he had put together some pretty invasive workout routines to get my weight down. We worked out extremely hard for 5 months and I lost 20 lbs. from January to June.

Then I found this program and got started. I lost 50 pounds, quicker then I had thought I would! Lessons learned that exercising is great, however if you don’t adopt good eating habits, you are not going to see the results you want.

My blood pressure and cholesterol readings are now among the best that my Doctor has seen. I feel better now than I have in over 10 years.
